Community First in the stars
7 May 2008
Local employment and community service group, Community First has just been awarded the highest possible Five Star rating by the Federal Government for its achievements in two of its Work for the Dole programs, and a Four and a half star rating for a third.
This puts the organisation in the top rank of Work for the Dole providers across Australia.
Awarded by the Federal Government’s Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, the star rating system compares all service providers across Australia. Five stars is the maximum possible, with ratings ranging from one to five stars in increments of half a star. The majority of providers in Australia are rated within the three to three and a half stars band.
Executive Manager of CFI’s Peel and Albany operations, Eileen Allison, said the Five Star ratings for CFI’s Albany and Bunbury Work for the Dole (WFD) and Four and a Half stars for the Mandurah WFD program reflected the dedication and enthusiasm of staff in making sure they gave the best possible service to job seekers in the Peel, South West and Lower Great Southern regions of Western Australia.
“Achieving these high ratings means our clients and employers can be confident that they’re dealing with a high quality organisation which offers a step up to a better life and will get the best results for them. It’s a tremendous boost for our staff who have worked so hard to maintain a high quality service,” Eileen said.
