Five Stars for Community First

4 March 2008
Community First, which has its head office at Mandurah, has been awarded a Five Star rating by the Federal Government for its achievements in Generalist and Youth contract work in the Peel region.Awarded by the Federal Government’s Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, the current star rating system compares all service providers across Australia. Five stars is the maximum possible, with ratings ranging from one to five stars in increments of half a star. The majority of providers in Australia are rated within the three to three and a half stars band.

Executive Manager of CFI’s Peel Operations, Eileen Allison, said the Five Star ratings for CFI’s Mandurah Job Network contracts were a fitting tribute to the hard work and dedication of staff in providing the best possible service to clients.

“This is the second time that our Mandurah Youth and Generalist contracts have achieved the Five Star rating. The feedback we receive from both job seekers and employers who use our services is very positive. We describe ourselves at CFI as people helping people to achieve a positive difference through employment, training and community services.

“Everyone at CFI works hard to make sure we fulfil that description and that we are always improving our service and positive outcomes for our clients.

“Achieving a five star rating is a tremendous boost for our staff, but it also provides a useful guide for our clients and for employers in knowing that they’re dealing with a high quality organisation which will get the best results for them too,” she said.
